LUMS Learning Institute

In recognition of the need to foster innovation in teaching and learning, the LUMS Learning Institute (LLI) was established in 2019 as a standalone department in LUMS to focus on pedagogical excellence with a primary focus on inclusivity and partnerships. An assimilation of similar models from universities around the globe, the LLI developed several multi-faceted programmes to enhance the learning environment in LUMS and beyond that were responsive to contextual realities, constantly adapting to present-day needs, and sustainable.

Overtime, LLI has developed programmes and workshop experiences, co-led by the LLI team, faculty, and student partners that focus on enhancing teaching, learning, and promoting scholarly development for current and future development of the teaching and learning community at LUMS and beyond. Our aim is to build a learning community that brings undergraduate and graduate teaching and learning development, and research under one roof.
