Workshop Description

Join us for an insightful roundtable discussion on the evolving role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in higher education. This forum brings together university leaders and key stakeholders to reflect on the opportunities, challenges, and ethical considerations that AI presents in teaching, learning, and institutional operations. The conversation will focus on shared experiences, emerging trends, and the broader implications of AI for academic integrity, equity, and innovation in education.

Workshop Delivery

The workshop includes interactive activities, mini lectures, and exercises where participants apply ChatGPT and artificial intelligence tools to their classroom contexts. There will be opportunities for individual work time and small group discussions.

Dr. Agha is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at LUMS and the founding director of the Center for Speech and Language Technologies (CSaLT). He is a Fulbright Scholar and received his Ph.D. from the Language Technologies Institute, School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA.
