Workshop Description

Open to faculty across disciplines at LUMS, this interactive working session explores the LUMS AI Policy through global and course-specific examples. Participants will engage with the policy’s 8 guiding questions for faculty, redesign an assignment, and draft their course-level AI policy—laying the groundwork for ongoing conversations in future AI sessions.

Learning Outcomes

Redesign one assignment or assessment component to make it more AI-resilient and process-based, ensuring it supports authentic student learning and reduces reliance on generative AI tools.

Apply one of the recommended AI policy models (restrictive, encouraged, or mixed) to draft or refine a course-specific AI usage policy relevant to their own teaching context.

Before joining LUMS, she has worked with the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi as a Research Consultant. Her research examines legal and regulatory issues relevant to IMF, Anti Money Laundering Laws, Cyber Laws in Finance and Islamic Finance in the US, UK, and Pakistan.
