Diploma in Healthcare Ethics & Professionalism (DHEP)

LLI

The Bioethics Department of Shalamar Medical & Dental College and the LUMS Learning Institute (LLI) have launched a one-year diploma to address basic healthcare ethics and professionalism issues.

This diploma tackles challenges today’s healthcare professionals face, covering clinical ethics, research ethics, leadership, and professionalism. This unique curriculum brings together the expertise of doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, ethics committee members, policymakers, researchers, and hospital administrators to develop professional competencies, ethical practices, and policies in Research, Education, and Clinical Practice.

Key Program Highlights

  1. Theory Meets Practice: The DHEP program bridges the gap with real-world case studies, equipping you to handle ethical dilemmas in Pakistani healthcare.
  2. Tailor-made curriculum: We do not believe in a one size fits all approach. Address the specific socio-cultural and ethical complexities faced by healthcare professionals in Pakistan with the DHEP program's customized curriculum.
  3. Expert Guidance: The program offers one-on-one mentorship by highly qualified and formerly trained bioethics faculty
