Since the MoU signing on 16 October 2025, this partnership has evolved through continuous engagement, dialogue, and joint initiatives aimed at strengthening teaching and learning practices at AROR University.

A key early milestone in this journey was the LLI team’s visit to Sukkur (16–19 November 2025), undertaken as part of the ongoing collaboration to support the development of the AROR Learning Institute (ALI). During the visit, LLI facilitated strategic planning sessions with university leadership, department chairs, and directors, focusing on strengthening academic systems and supporting long-term institutional growth.

The visit also included interactive engagements with students, designed to spark curiosity, encourage reflection, and promote a culture of continuous learning. These conversations and activities provided valuable insights into AROR’s strengths, aspirations, and areas for development, helping shape a shared roadmap for the partnership moving forward.

The recent five-day intensive professional development program hosted at LLI represents an important milestone within this ongoing collaboration, rather than a standalone event.

The program focused on building foundational teaching and leadership capacities essential for the development of the AROR Learning Institute (ALI). Sessions led by Dr. Qasim Imtiaz focused on instructional design, learner engagement, and the evolving role of educators as academic leaders. Participants explored practical strategies for creating dynamic, student-centered learning environments.

Further sessions facilitated by Dr. Salma Zaman emphasized inclusive teaching practices, effective lesson planning, and meaningful feedback. A key takeaway throughout these discussions was the recognition that learning extends beyond grades it is intentional, reflective, and foundational to institutional growth. Through structured lesson cycles and reflective exercises, participants examined their teaching approaches and identified opportunities for continuous improvement.

The latter part of the program introduced participants to the evolving role of Artificial Intelligence in teaching and learning. Through hands-on sessions led by Dr. Agha Ali Raza, participants engaged with AI tools as thought partners that can support instructional design, assessment, and academic decision-making.

Topics included prompt and context engineering, AI-supported assessment, data analysis, and the design of educational chatbots. These discussions encouraged participants to consider ethical and pedagogically grounded approaches to integrating AI, reinforcing the importance of aligning technological innovation with educational intent.

Beyond the classroom, the AROR delegation explored Androon Lahore as a city rich in history, architecture, and cultural heritage. For a university deeply rooted in architecture, design, art, and heritage, this experience offered meaningful contextual learning beyond the classroom.

The visit created space for informal reflection, dialogue, and connection, reinforcing how place, history, and culture can inform educational perspectives and creative practice.

The five-day intensive program reflects the broader vision of the LLI–AROR University partnership: to collaboratively build future-ready educators and establish a strong, sustainable foundation for the AROR Learning Institute (ALI)

Grounded in pedagogical excellence, reflective practice, and innovation, this collaboration continues to evolve—guided by a shared commitment to learning, institutional growth, and long-term impact.
